What is Chiropractic?

Doctors of Chiropractic focus on the nervous system to diagnose, treat and help prevent conditions and disorders related to the back, neck, pelvis, and extremities.

The main form of treatment chiropractors deliver is called an adjustment – a non-invasive procedure consisting of a precise directed movement to help relieve pain, and restore normal range of motion to the bodies joints.

The goal of chiropractic care is to assist in providing proper function to the bodies joints and muscles, so it can heal in a dynamic way.

A properly moving spine and skeletal joints will provide shock absorption and help a person to interact better with their environment therefore preventing injury.

A chiropractor does not prescribe medications or perform surgery, they guide the body so it can heal naturally.

When developing a diagnose they may use diagnostic tools such as x-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, and CT scans.
